My 8310 Rockwood was a shared vent for both and down south I had both struggling to keep up. Get 2

Thanks for the input and we have in fact decided to order the 2nd A/C & 50 amp service option based on all of the recommendations we've gotten.

I spoke with a very knowledgeable rep at FR today and he told me that well over 1/2 of the 30' and shorter units custom ordered by customers from dealers in the southern states are ordered with the 2nd A/C option, which confirms our decision even more. He went on to confirm that the 2nd A/C is ducted, includes a better dual control thermostat on the wall, and comes with a heat strip for cooler mornings.

One other thing off this topic that he told me is that FR is now adding additional bracing under the FW tank to address that issue, although he did go on to say that it would probably be a good idea to travel with your FW tank no more than 3/4 full.

Great decision ordering 2nd air. You will not regret it, especially when ya head south. Glade your not here this week real bummer for heat and humidity. Enjoy your new rig when it arrives Later RJD
