We ran into this situation today for the first time. We went to Wally World and could not buy a case of water. There was no toilet paper either that I could see. Lucky we are okay in that department for now. We were able to buy 4 gallon jugs of Spring water.

We visited the Las Cruces Veterans Memorial Park today. It was a very nice park which honors everyone who served in any war. They had many different displays. I'll try to get those pics up tomorrow. FACT: New Mexico had the largest number of POW's held by the Japanese per capita of any state in the U.S.

Here is the rest of the story on Sunny Acres Rv Park in Las Cruces. The day we arrived and set up we heard trains nearby. They were really close. The good news is the last train went by around 10;00 PM. There was a junk yard or repair yard beyond the fence surrounding the campground. They had a big dog that roamed the property all night. The first night the dog barked most of the night. The second night he was pretty quiet. We were in a back in site at the back of the park. These sites a quit large FHU, gravel, laundry and nice restrooms, cable. No other amenities.

We are in Fort Stockton RV Park and will leave in the morning for Fredericksburg Tx. We spent some time to get caught up on laundry and relax. We will be in Fredericksburg for a week and then move to the New Braunfels area for two weeks.

Wow camper70, when Sonny and Cher wrote the "Beat Goes On" who knew that they already knew of you! Great great pictures of your New Mexico travels and the Veterans Memorial. I would really like to see that in honor of my son, 3 tours Irag and 1 Afghanistan, Special Forces.

Nice to see you are going to perhaps kick back a little with a 2-week stay in the New Braunfels, TX area. I'm told by a client through work that the area is beautiful. Once a year he calls, we'll talk for 45 minutes, and then he asks when are my wife and I coming done to visit, he'll show us the sights. We won't have to now, I'm sure once you get settled in we will see more pics of the places of interest in the area.

Enjoy and Have Fun my friend!

Thank's sherman12 for the encouragement. We are in Fredericksburg TX. for a week and then will make the short move to New Braunfels. We enjoy all of Texas Hill Country which is why it is the last stop before heading home. I'm not sure how much more there is to post. I already have done good coverage of the area the past two years. You could look here for the 2018 & 2019 Winter Adventure if you were not following along those years. I'm sure you would enjoy the Pacific War Museum in Fredericksburg. You need two or three days to see it depending on how much reading you do. You should try to make the trip down here someday. Tell your son We thank him for his service and hope he is doing well.
We are trying not to get freaked out by the Covid-19 Virus but it is getting hard not too. We only drink Spring Water while on the road and it is getting hard to come by. We should have stocked up a few cases but did not dream it would come to this. We are starting to wonder if we will get stuck on the road if it continues to get worse. I hope there would not be any interstate travel bans or something like that. Is there anyone on the road who is planning on heading home? I'm heading home in three weeks anyway. I don't want to head home any sooner. We wanted to attend Church tomorrow but all the masses have been cancelled. This is building into a real hysteria.

We have decided to end our winter adventure starting tomorrow. We will be working our way home over the coming days. This is not an easy decision but with many things closing around us and some supplies being impossible to find it seems like the right thing to do. I hope everyone enjoyed the pics and posts. This will be my last post of the trip unless I need to respond to someone. Thank's for all your support. Stay safe and enjoy your trips when you are able to get out.

It is like that here also. Toilet tissue, hand towels, hand sanitizer all disappear before they can unload the palette.

Thanks for taking us along Camper70! Safe travels home, and, when you get home.

Yeah, the current crisis situation has made it difficult for all, especially us in the RV community that uses RV'ing and the travels involved as a form of escape from the everyday realities of life and the daily stresses.

Thank's to everyone who has responded lately. We still have a couple days before arriving home. We are in the Knoxville TN. area tonight and will be in the Harrisonburg VA. area tomorrow night and then the last push home on Tues morning weather dependent. We are watching the snow that may develop in our area Monday night. We have been social distancing and a lot of hand washing and sanitizer. We are both healthy so far and keeping our fingers crossed. We hope everyone still on the road and those at home be extra cautious.
