Question 24/7 Tech Support like Thor?

I'm a new owner of a used 2018 Sunseeker 2290 S.

I just sold my used 2017 Thor 29FE motorhome. Say what you will about Thor, it served me well as my first motorhome.

They have a 24/7 customer support number; if you call after hours and indicate it's an emergency they'll put you through to someone. You need to register your VIN with them so they have your records. I've needed to use that service a couple times and it really really helped.

Does Forest River have something similar? I know this forum is a great resource but sometimes you're stuck somewhere and need to speak with a tech.

A couple Thor reps also hung out on the Thor Owners facebook group and shared their numbers and email addresses, also very helpful.

Not that I'm aware of.

We used to have a few different employees at the different FR brands, but almost all have gone away other than Brian Clemens and another with Dynamax. If you can afford it, I'd buy a Dynamax in a heartbeat because of bclemens.

Doug, Brian has a number of reps here, from other FR Motorhome divisions, than just Dynamax.

On the Forest River Owners Group FROG website there is a tab for useful links, scroll through the menu and there is a contact list for every division. Have used it a couple of times for technical issues. Great help, do not think it is manned after hours, but they do respond if voicemail is left.

I found having a good rapport with your service dept at your dealer (if you bought it there) works wonders, also. I had a problem with a slide 2 years ago while on a trip, called the service department at the dealer and they helped me out.
Just another resource, IMHO.
