3rd Cycle

I'm know I'm not in a unique situation, but, to be sure, has anyone else cycled through the RV evolutionary chain more than once?

We started out with a tent trailer when the children were young and has they grew so did our camper. We graduated to a 30 ft travel trailer and then for some reason felt we needed a motorhome. We had the Cass C until our kids finished school and moved away and sold it. A couple years later, we missed camping and started again with a tent trailer, quickly upgraded to a hybrid trailer and even quicker traded for a fifth wheel.

As some may know, we lost our fifth wheel through the elements of a harsh winter and spring and the unit was written off by the insurance company.

Guess what I have been looking at lately? Yes tent trailers and small travel trailers. This will be the start of our 3rd cycle. Can anyone beat that?

Started with a Class-A, swapped to a PUP, then to a Hybrid. I think I am done.

We started with a travel trailer, then to a pick up slide in camper, then to a pop-up, then to another pop-up, then to a fifth wheel, back to a travel trailer, then back to a fifth wheel, and then another fifth wheel. Thats where we are now. All of this in a span of 40 years.

How quickly was your cycle?
In 4.5 years we went through:

1975 30' Airstream TT
1969 13' Fleetwing TT
2012 19' Gulfstream Visa TT
2013 31' Cruiser RV Enterra TT
2014 32' Prime Time Crusader 5th

And we're now itching for a bigger 5th wheel with king size bed and bath tub!
Weeeeeeeeee 😊🎉
