We had a good day. Didn't use the RV, so avoided all the crowds of children. We went to our small(ish) town's Parade, had lunch at a deli in town and wandered home again.

Living in a place that people from all over the country pay big bucks to visit gives one a feeling of superiority!

Friends here can't figure out why we have an RV rather than a boat, as most of them have. My response is "One chunk of rock sticking out of the ocean and covered with fir trees looks a lot like all the others. Besides, you can't visit Zion, Yellowstone or the Grand Canyon in a boat."

Reason why I don't have a boat. Although if I lived on a lake, I wouldn't mind a pontoon.
