5er basement & foward storage areas

We will be picking up our Columbus 340RK the 27th of this month. (There is a reason for the snow storms...helps to keep the excitement at bay). I have read a number of threads on basement storage ideas but none of the Front Locker area which leads me to three questions, 1) what items do you normally put in the basement, 2) what mods did you do to your basement area for additional "stuff" and 3) how do you use the forward storage area when not packing a generator.
