Do it all the time. Turn on the tube or the radio and dream of the next place to go. Walk from front to back about 6 times per visit. I love this life.

Every weekend. I love having it in the drive next to the house.

My wife and I do this all the time, we even sleep out there from time to time.. we call it "driveway camping". We've even had pizza delivered to the camper in the driveway...That is what "IT's" all about and some people just don't get it.

I would love to hear from a psychologist as to why we like spending time in our RVs, even in the driveway...I suspect it relates to desire for wanderlust (offering the opportunity to fantasize about random roaming) or maybe the "man cave" thing. I know that I enjoy hanging out just thinking about upgrades and other tinkering to make it my own unique living space, and of course - past and future trips.

Sometimes when getting things ready for a trip, sometimes If not going to my shop for private time go to trailer and pretend to be doing something to it, planning a trip I keep a book of all the parks we've been to with all the best campsites marked in it. Had a couple of yard camping trips with grand kids ( too many to take them anywhere , 10 so far). Everybody does these and if they say no don't believe it.

I'm no psychologist, but I think it's more of the Man-Cave thing. Or even more likely, it's the fort/treehouse we always wanted as a kid. And this one has, heat, AC, television and a fridge!!

I have one better then that, 2 of the granddaughters and daughter in law slept in my fathers motor home in the driveway. The girls were pretending that they were camping.

I "camp" in mine occasionally in the shop when it's "foggy" out and I can't find my way to the house.
Guilty as charged.

My coffee would quickly have a thin layer of ice on the top but otherwise I could see it happening.

Doing it right now too! Having in the backyard means I can access my wifi and work on my laptop and pretend I'm at the lake. And during the really cold spells when I ran a Lesko heater during the night to keep it warm I liked sleeping out there and hearing the sleet/snow. It was just the cold run to the house for the bathroom that wasn't perfect ;-)

I had a 30amp rv box installed on the back porch so I could plug it in and it was the best $150 I've ever spent.

I can say ordering Pizza to the trailer would be neat. The Dog gets all excited when we bring the trailer home, wants to go.
Today it was -12 C on the way into work, we did a major cleanup yesterday getting ready for first trip just after Easter.
