Advice and preparations while waiting on my first RV, Sunseeker 2400

Hi, I'm excited about receiving my first RV in mid September. I'm following the forum but know there are lots of things to consider and prepare for before heading out on my first adventure. I have two cats that will travel with me so have been reading up on their needs. But I know many of you can provide sound advice on must haves such as mimimal tools (metric?) etc., and other considerations. I've never had a diesel vehicle before either. Any advice there is also welcome!! Thanks in advance.

I can only suggest some things about the fur balls. Best if you have them confined while you are in motion as they tend to want to get under you feet while you drive and stomping on a cat instead of the brake wouldn't be good. Finding a place for the litter box can be a challenge, many people put it in a shower or bathtub. Don't forget to empty their water dish before you travel. They get a little anxious when they first start to move but then get settled down. Once they learn the territory they will relax. We travel with 2 ourselves but we have a travel trailer so they travel in it when moving, they crawl under the bed covers and sleep there. As far as any other suggestions I will leave that up to others that own a Sunseeker.

Roadside service, get one.
Read you manuals and understand them,
Have your dealers service dept and contact info. They can answer your questions.
Yard camp for a couple nights with your pets and really camp, sleep, prepare meals, watch TV, sit under the awning in camping chairs use the bath and toilet.
There will be more.
