All numbers work but
I have a 7 month old F350 SRW 6.7 and not about to trade soon. All numbers including payload work with some to spare. The question is anyone pull a 42' 5er with SRW? So, not numbers but length problems? Or not?

I have worked the numbers with my 5 month old F 350 Crew SD 6.7 as well.
I figured I can handle 16,000 GVWR Fiver. Length we are looking at is 40 ft. Pin figured to be 3k. If we get the USD drops closer to CDN dollar we will be buying a new one.

If the payload numbers work, then it shouldn't be an issue. A dually would more stable in windy conditions, but again the numbers work so not a requirement. Lots of 42' 5er's in the campgrounds pulled by SRW trucks.

An SOB ~~ Elkridge 40FLS. Front living room full profile. Wife wants a real w/d no combo. The w/d is in the rear bedroom, rear wall. Length 42'3 dry 13,200 gvrw 15,500. Not finding much to choose from with the stackable W/D option unless going to luxury models.

That's awesome! From what I just seen, seems like that is a great looking 5er Mr CaptnJohn

I'll be in FL for another month. The sales manager at my dealer is a personal friend. Preliminary talk is just that. He has done great in the past even if I walked on one as out of my range. If it works this will be #3 he has sold me plus a couple friends.

Some day we're maybe planning to get a fiver to retire with. The Couger you have is great floor plan I really like. Oh well got me thinking too [emoji57] just right for my retirement in the future. 9 more and I'll have my 30 in at the City of Asheboro.

Not that you can always believe market reports, but reports I have heard is don't be surprised if our Cdn $ falls to the .65 cent range before the year is out.

That sounds doable. I would do that myself. Even in the mountains and such. The truck can handle that with everything legal especially rear laundry Weight at the back.

We really like the Cougar. Not full time but spend about 4 - 5 months on the road. My daughters family has a 2nd home near us in NC and spend summers there. We fish the Atlantic as much as possible while they are in town. The other 3 seasons ~~ 2 - 3 months in FL plus any and everywhere else for a week or 2 at a time. We pick an area and explore then move on with a time to regroup in NC once in a while. The Cougar has been great so far. Atwood sent a mobile tech for the furnace on our maiden voyage and had 1 minor item replaced under warranty. It seems well built and a great floor plan for 2 and occasional guests.

WoW!! I hope not! That would be terrible for Canada and Canadians. I recall around 30% discount years ago. My wife and I spent time in Ontario, especially the theaters in Toronto. Tried Quebec but did not feel welcome there like everywhere in Ontario. Also, a couple duck hunting trips to NS. I know many Canadians did not make it to FL this year and some of those that did are staying 4 - 6 weeks instead of 3 - 4 months. I hear from home on the coast at the NC/SC border the number of Canadians increased a little this year. I understand as they can get a month there for slightly more than a week where I'm staying this year and about slightly more than half of where we will be next year. FL is very expensive and the Carolinas are in off season. No snow there either.

I pull a 42' Sabre 36QBOK with a 3500 Crew Cab SB SRW. Tows great. The new trucks and trailers tow so much better these days. Obviously you don't have the added security of a couple extra tires on the ground in case of a blowout but aside from that I wouldn't think twice about it.

I have a 15 F350 CC LB SRW and tow a 40' CC 36CKTS around the southwest. We weighed it Christmas before last and it weighed about 15k, 3k on the tongue and 12k on the axles. We have put thousands of miles on it in a year and a half with out issue. I drive in the low 60's and have air bags set to about 15lbs for a little better ride.

Have pulled my Dad's 40+ rig with his 2016 SRW 350, and also pulled it with my brother's 2015 350 DRW. I honestly didn't feel any difference in handling going down the road.
It did take me awhile to get the ford stink off my clothes so I could get back in my Duramax though

We have. Everything was fine, but we did add firestone air bags to the rear and that was a very good addition to the F250, and leveled the pickup to where the headlights, etc weren't a problem. We pulled in dry conditions, snow, and solid ice and no problem.
