Alpha Membrane Wear after Storage - Thin Spots

Hi All,

I had to store my trailer from 10/08 thru 4/10 because of job joss. Now that I'm employed again we're going camping again, the trailer looks great for the most part. There are a few sections of the Alpha Membrane that are showing the black inner core (mainly where the straps securing the trailer cover were tight along the edge of the roof.)

Can I just "skim coat" those worn areas with rubber sealant? Or is there a patch I can apply for the thin areas? The worn areas are less than 1" long and right above the gutter when the roof goes from vertical to arched.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Mike,

Eternabond sells patch kits.
Cut a small piece from a roll and place it over the worn area. Easy to do.
