After our most recent 10 day dry camping trip I have learned that adverse weather and lousy fishing is really hard on battery usage.

Someone needs to invent a power monitor system that can tell how much amperage is used when the fish aren't biting.

Lots of fish = BIG smile, no amp draw because your outside telling fish stories

my inverter Magnum has an amp using indication on the display, above the door
what type of control panel do you have? I have seen many upgraded panels from magnum sold through of all places....west marine

I actually put the Trimetric 2025rv in about a month ago so I know exactly how much amerage I am using at all times. It also tells me % charge from full and how many amps are needed to recover to 100% charge. I am really liking it. Needless to say you are correct. Good fishing means i'm out enjoying the fishing or eating a few of them with a good beer.
