Another Quality Product --------RV Related

We have 5 parking booths where I work that have low profile Dometic a/c units on them. Out of the 5 we have replaced 3 of them just this Summer. The two pic I have posted is the same Dometic a/c unit brand new out of the box at a cost of $800.00 bucks each and was installed this morning. Look at the motor, It was installed on an angle, the blower wheel on the condenser side of the unit was stricking the housing, I was able to adjust the blower wheel and stop the problrm, but If it was installed a little more to the right then we would have sent It back to the local RV Dealer.
Last week two other fellow workers installed a new unit on another parking booth, the next morning I had to repair that on as well the motor on that one was loose and the blower wheel had all ready damaged the blower housing.
Just thought I would pass this on, this is something most people don't know about.

First off sorry for the late reply, The parking booths are 8 years old and they are the same age as the museum, the second year the booths were in operation we had to replace two out of the 5 units, since then we replaced one last year and two more this year, now one of the ones we replaced this year I had to replace the blower motor in one of the originals two years ago and kept it as a spare and then it was reused the same Summer because of another failure. The reason I can keep track of it is because I date the parts when they are installed and the same go's for the hole unit when they are replaced.
The biggest failure is do to power surges, Dometic units can not handle them well, the capacitors fry causing the pc boards to burn and the wiring in most cases are destroyed at this point they are not worth the time to rebuild them depending how bad they are damaged. It takes about three hour with two people to take out the old and install the new and at a cost of about $800.00 for the unit, the cost factor is not included for labor because we are under contract. I have 5 units that I need to look at to see if I can make a good one out of all that junk.

Sorry for the late reply, a parking booth is a small one man booth where an attendent is inside and collects money for parking, they have them at Themepark.
