Any other RV forums that you are a member of?

I'm looking to expand my horizons and join other RV forums. Are there any worth noting that you are a member of or can recommend? I did a quick search in my area and did not come across too much activity, which was surprising to me.

sometimes https://www.rv.net/forum/ but this is the best forum I have found. Even though this is a Forest River user forum there are many people here with SOB (some other brand). Most things in RVs are the same, the just can't expect exact brand specific answers.

I am not sure what you mean by "search in my area". it is online so area doesn't matter.

I too am a member of RV.net. Don't spend much time there but when I do I follow several of the discussions on technical issues.

Not really a lot of difference in the discussions as whatever brand you own there isn't a lot of difference in issues.

RV.net does have a thread that at last check has been running 12 years and is discussing "Chinese Generators". Originally started around the Champion open frame 3500/4000 watt generator.

I've picked up a bunch of good info on the Airstream forum: https://www.airforums.com/forums. I'm also on the iRV2 forum. I did sign up on a few others but haven't been on them for ages.

Not exactly a forum but RV Travel is a daily newsletter with tons of information. I believe it is now the largest internet newsletter. Though it is free "paid subscribers" (any amount) get additional information. The editor won't take paid advertising from manufactures because he reports on both the good and bad.

Never saw the need to go anywhere else. I don't even own a Forest River trailer any more but I still hang around.

When I traded my Rockwood HW-277 for a JayFeather X-213, I joined the Jayco Forum.

I think the Forest River forums are more comprehensive and informative, so I asked to stay. The Jayco forums are pretty redundant with FR except on specific rig info.

I still pay closer attention to the discussions on the FR forums, because the senior members and moderators seem to have far more well rounded expertise. I've learned a lot here.

Since you identify as a newbie, you might find https://learntorv.com/ helpful. It's operated by Doug "ependydad", a member here. It's not so much a forum, more of a tutorial or blog.

If you use or want to use MeWe as an alt to FB there are many groups. The RV group has more general discussion about RVing and generic questions about MHs, TTs, etc. not specific to any brand or type.

Think I was asked to leave IRV2. Same thing here but the bike dude and the tire guy let me back on (of which I appreciated) more info here, plus I learned to keep some of my comments to myself, and just read and try to help.

Heartland Owners Forum https://heartlandowners.org

We’ve owned 2 FR products and now a Heartland, I still lurk here, as someone else mentioned, a lot of things RV are the same

We had two Cardinals and finally got a Grand Design. I joined that forum but I still hang here as there is much more generic information.

I have been on some others Thor for awhile when I had a Four Winds and a few other sites but this one pretty much covers everything I need.
