Not Christmas new but to us it is..........:)

We bought our FV 2014 Salem Hemisphere Lite 286RLT in Oct.

It will be our Christmas, Birthday and Anniversary gift for 2014.

So far we are loving it. Stayed 9 days at Rockport, TX Goose Island State Park for Thanksgiving.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Blessed Be,
Marigold

Look to the left.....that's the new Christmas gift we got each other. Came in earlier than expected to we "shook it down" for five days just before Thanksgiving. Then wrapped it back up and put it under the tree.

Did the shot gun come with that beautiful new Wildcat as part of the "protection package"? LOL!

Congratulations to all with their brand new rigs and tow vehicles. You deserve the fruits of your labors! Happy New Year with them and many happy and safe miles of fun upon fun.

This is true, I could never grow to like Benellis, but planned on buying this one pretty soon. So far it's been great, 8 boxes so far without a hiccup.

I was very impressed with Winchester when they came out with this autoloader. It does blow any Benelli out of the water. I happen to be quite into guns and shooting as well. I just purchased the new .17 Winchester Super Mag. What a sweet rimfire round. The best part is the fact it is cheap to shoot and a great 'yote round out to 200 yards.

I saw some reviews on that round and it looked pretty impressive for small game.

Ok, y'all - if we could bring this back to the topic of RVs and new campers for XMas, it'd be much obliged.

Cheers and Happy Almost New Year!

Last spring we actually put in an RV pad. I brought up the idea with my wife, that we could get a folding trailer because I knew our Jeep could pull it. She didn't really warm up to that idea. Turns out she thought "expanding out driveway" was a good idea because the patch of grass was hard to maintain and we could always use the new "parking" for our friends when they drop by...

We are now having a second daughter in January and we started talking about getting a mini-van. For two kids, a mini-van is really probably not needed, but actually would give us more cargo space when traveling. So, I thought for a while and brought up with her the fact that we really wanted the min-van just for more space when traveling. If that was the case, then why not consider a motorhome ? She really seemed to warm up to that idea. We then started looking around locally for a good used MH. I really decided I wanted a class C and we really did not see anything we liked and it seemed that the prices they wanted for even a 10 year old plus MH was not really a good value.

So, long story short, we ordered a new Sunseeker 3010 DS from RV direct that should be ready sometime in February or March ... At this point, I think my wife is actually more excited about the new MH than I am ...

Robert
