Atwood on demand water heaters

I recently purchased a Rev 24tb. While at the dealer I noticed the hot water wasn't right. Their service attempted to fix it. They called Dynamax and they recommended I run the facet on full hot in the sink then take a shower. This is not acceptable. Have anyone else had problems??????? Help, love to boondock and cant now. Sucks for a new motor home

The on demand hot water heater doesn't work in a rv, you will be really disappointed , good luck

My minor experience with on demands is an adjustable flow with temp adjustment. Maybe if adjustable you can find a happy medium where it's shower friendly and hot enough for dishes. Be advised...cold water changes all perimeters...as does sun warmed.

I have tankless. I'm having it replaced with a conventional one. Some people love it. Mine doesn't work. Just awful.

Personally, I've never heard or saw a good comment about on demand hot water in an RV.

Thanks bandjcarm! And I guess I am one of them. We love our tankless and have had no problems. We boondock 80% of the time. I don't know if we were lucky and got a good Atwood or are just more adaptable to the slight operation differences. Search the other threads for more info. I hope they get you fixed up soon. if the dealer isn't much help call the Atwood techs directly.
