Awesome deal on a new generator
Not sure if this is the right place to post this or if it's allowed but wanted to try sharing it anyway.
Amazon has the champion 3100w inverter generator with wireless remote start for $595 with prime shipping. They also have the same model without wireless and electric start for $30 less but I think the electric start is worth it. I went ahead and ordered one for some of our boondocking excursions.

Wow, that's $400 cheaper than I paid 2 years ago. I wonder if this model has lost popularity now that they have the 3400 watt model?

What is your opinion of the noise level when running under load? 58 db from 23' seems kind of loud.

that rates it among the lower noise level generators, ... not the lowest, but good, ..... even lower than the always popular Honda, according to the link/info below ........

Just a thought.... be sure you are comparing apples to apples when considering
noise levels.
If generator A is rated for sound at 15 feet and generator B is rated the
same db but measured at 25 feet, generator B is considerably louder.
It still sounds like a pretty good deal if it will start your AC.

That is a great price. As a bonus, this is the one that you can modify for using an external gas supply to get you extended runtime. On board (1.5 gal tank) will run 5 to 7 hours without refill depending on load. I did the Pinellas extended run modify and now use the 6 gal portable marine outboard tank I already had. Its a heck of a lot less mess than the usual portable gas cans.

That is a great price for that generator. I have one and love it. Paid $400 more for it when it came out.

Same happened to me. Someone must have screwed up in setting the Amazon price that low. Or they quickly realized they were too cheap. Congrats to those who snagged that deal

Amazon's prices can change several times a day, .......

Well so much for that deal. I wanted to wait till I got home cause I had a gift card to use. Now missed it. Got home and it's now $839.00. Walmart online was even matching amazons price and just as Amazon went up so did Walmart. $899 at Walmart now. Wow what a deal that was. Sorry I missed it. Thanks for letting us know. Next time I will have gift card ready to go... Bummer 😣

Wasn't a one day sale. It's been dropping throughout the last week. Picked it up on Saturday for $640 and am still happy with my price, even though it dropped lower. Chances are it'll come back down past $700 soon.
