Back From Pirateland in Myrtle Beach. #2

This is just 5 pic and I have alot more. This celebration go's on evey year, It is something to see. If you and your family get a chance to spend a vacation at Pirateland, I think you will enjoy it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How as far as mods go!
TIRES: My 8314ss came with ST205/75R15-C rated Carlisle, I changed them out and installed ST225/75R15-D rated Goodyear Marathon's and had them balanced as recommended by many FRF members, What a difference, Vibration from the TT was reduced or just about eliminated due to tire balancing, this made a smooth towing experience. Now C rated tires are 6 ply and D rated tires are 8 ply, with 8 ply tires as the big rig rolled by sway was reduced and had no problem with contol, I wish I made these change earlier.
HEAT LOAD: My 8314ss came with a Domstic A/C system 13,500 BTU, I suffered with this unit two years ago at the same camp ground. Prior to our trip I had a Carrier A/C system installed, but bigger 15,000 BTU. This unit worked great. My wife made curtains for the windows and I installed the with spring rods. They were made to help keep the heat out along with the day/night shades and sealed of the two sky lights. The other thing I did was set the fan to the A/C unit to ON so it would keep the air circulating and keep a balanced temp so there was no hot spots..... MORE LATER, 2:30 am comes early for the first day back to work after two weeks off....
No, the site where we were is all the way at the end of the camp ground right at the ocean. The site in the back of us is wider. It seems to me that all the sites on the ends are somewhat narrow. With the slide out and the awning it is a little tight but can be done. For the most part while we were there it was breezy so I did not open the awning at all.
