Bah! Snow!

The St. Louis area received an official 8.4 inches of snow overnight. I'm getting too old to be shoveling snow and there aren't any young boys in the neighborhood to pay to do it anymore. My wife had to help me dig out the driveway this morning. And to think that just a couple of days ago the St. Louis area set a record high of 73 degrees.

I knew we should have hitched up the Wildcat and headed for Gulf Shores the last week of January. Next year I think we'll get reservations for the month of February and March. I don't know, perhaps next year we should become true snowbirds and head south right after Christmas.

wanna borrow my snowblower??? Much easier on the ol' back.

We've had some big swings, but they were -39 to 22 degrees or something. I put shorts on when it's above ZERO! Whooooooah!

It was a "wimpy" snow storm for Michigan by the time it arrived here
on Friday morning. We were forcast for 6 - 11 inches. We only
recieved 3-4.

OK, the snow is all gone. Yesterday the temperature soared to 78 degrees at our house. I was outside in a short sleeve shirt. It's no wonder everyone in this area is sick with a cold or the flu.
