GF and I just purchased our first RV. We ordered it from a dealer and it just came in from FR. A new Columbus fifth wheel. We are in New Jersey and have to go to Ohio for the PDI soon. We were just having a discussion about bedding. Does the RV come like you see them at the shows and the dealers? As far as bed sheets and bed spreads and stuff or just a bare mattress? I say sheets, she says bare mattress.
Don't have a Columbus but on ours, the bedroom had bedspread, shams with pillows in the shams. No sheets, regular pillows or pillow cases. And nothing on the bunks.
Ours came with a regular Serta queen size mattress so we just got our sheets at Sam's. Then also got foam topper, just to make it more comfortable. DH says he likes it better than our mattress in the sticks & bricks
we also received the crappy decorative pillows and bedspread which promptly get removed from the fiver for our own bedding. Our old tt was the same way. The old tt had an rv queen, we used regular sheets and bed protector. The fiver (sabre) has a regular queen, we use regular sheets/bed protector on it. We also use a 3' memory foam topper to make the mattress tolerable.
