I am trying to find out what is the max weight on my 2014 Forest River Cherokee 294BH front bedroom where the queen size bed is tv mount can support total? I wanna get a bracket and TV for that. please let me know.
I'm not sure of the total weight and I think it would depend on if your are going to exterior or interior wall. My RV has aluminum studs on the outer walls but standard wood interior. I installed a 24" led TV in the bunk room and I've had no issues. It swings out but I tightened it down enough that it does swing out while driving instead of installing a strap. Some wall mounts like the factory one in the living room have a catch so when you push it shut, It sorta locks in place. If I were installing anything bigger than a newer 24" I'd get a wall mount that was a wide plate and could be be screwed to 2 studs. I'd also use butterfly bolts if mounting in the medal studs. Newer led Tvs are pretty light and my Samsung 32" is plenty light enough to mount in an RV. You just have to be careful that the TV can't swing out while towing. That would add a lot more stress on the bumps.
