Yup. What you said. Directly from TST and tell them you are a FROG. +/- $315. Just installed mine last week replacing the previous TST unit that was 12 years old.
And yes, GREAT customer service. They have shipped new sensors to me all over the USA.

TST TPMS is great. Just came home yesterday from a week trip. Right front sensor started beeping and had lost signal. I stop asap and checked tire. It was ok and I had forgot to plug in repeater. Went down the road and it picked up tire again. It is nice to know whats going on back there.

IMO.
With the right front, you will not need the repeater (imo).

I have made a lot of trips and this has happened several times to me. 'A', sensor would start beeping, because.... I had lost a Signal. I would (usually) pull over and check on that certain tire (if it was safe to do so). Finding no issue (that I could see) with the 'tire'. I would restart the monitor and that one sensor would not 'pick up'. That would be fine, as I would check it at the end of the day journey or if we 'stopped', for longer than a hour. I believe that it was always a battery issue of being low or losing a good contact within the TPMs. It is easy to take apart and check the voltage or reset the contact by taking the battery out and reinserting it if the voltage was good. Worked Every Time, by changing the battery or pulling battery out and reinserting it. Signal was always reestablished after I checked the sensor. I have eight sensors, one for each tire. If one loses a connecting with the monitor and I 'check/look over' the tire and believe that it is the battery and have little time to 'check it' at that time..... I have driven for many many years with NO TPMs, so , knowing that I still have seven working sensors, I am fine with that until we stop for the day and I can look it over. I always have extra batteries to 'fix' the sensor on the road it needed.

This was one of the biggest selling points for me to buy the TST 507, I can check it out and reinstall a new battery when needed. Some systems at the time that I was looking for a TPMs, I would have to 'send it back' to the seller. That would mean that you/me/I could be traveling for Days with out a sensor on one or more tires. NOT Expectable to me. I need/want my sensor to work as soon as possible and I can 'fix it' on my timeline, not on someone else's timeline.

thank-you TST.

Brother Les, Thank you for the reply and info. I just replaced the batteries this spring. I need to check the voltage of that battery as it may have been a bad battery.
Happy RVing!

imo,
not a low battery, just pull it out (check voltage) and reinstall if voltage good. Should work fine.
