We bought one of those works great but I can't find a hot spot for the signal receiver next to my battery when you get next to the city. so we have been using it without it.

Its probably me but I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about here.
Wondered the same thing myself. LOL
I put my booster directly to the battery with a cutoff.
Our battery is at the front of the 5er.
Other than taking awhile to set it up. I wouldn't travel without the tire minders again!
