Black streaks

I wasn’t sure where to put this so I ended up in this sub forum. What does everyone use to remove black streaks and other pesty stains from their TT?

I’ve always used Simple Green. Some use Awsome but it has a tendency to dull paint and will damage windows if mixed too strong. The real secret is too keep your roof clean and treated, that’s where the streaks originate from. JMHO.

I don't know about Michigan, but here in Connecticut the dollar stores carry a product called "Totally Awesome" which is er, totally awesome at removing the black streaks. You should also be able to get it on Amazon.

Spray it on, wait maybe 30 seconds, and then wipe it off. Wax the finish afterwords to brighten the paint and retard the streaks from coming back.

Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Spray Foam. Cleans black streaks, and bugs off .
Totally safe on everything. I even use it on front of our cars at home to remove bugs before washing.

I'd say while you're washing. I generally do a section at a time. Wash, clean streaks, rinse, and then after everything is dry, optionally give it a waxing. I generally only have time to wax it once a year.

I always used McQuire's Black Streak Remover.

UNTIL, I just got back from Amish RV Services. Orvan uses a simple cutting compound and a buffer...........his buffer is hydraulic but electric would be fine. Voila. It worked wonders.

When you don't have to do it yourself, anything that they use would be wonderful.
