black tank termination valve issues
Anyone out there with a Wolfpack 295 pack 13 5'er have the issue with the blank tank termination valve not closing completely. mine is a 2018, and uses a cable to open and close. The cable is not straight for 6" like the instructions require. Anybody got a fix? there is just nothing I can see under there to mount the cable at a more appropriate path.

There have been many reports here of the cables being out of adjustment and/or misrouted and causing issues.
I see it is your first post... Welcome!
There is a search function that will help you locate past discussions about issues (near the top of the page) if using the web site. The app is a bit harder to navigate when searching.
Here is a link to one such search...

First, let's use the correct language so we are all on the same page. Your "black tank termination valve" is called a "Gate Valve". This problem is widespread. the cables must be anchored down. Think about a lawn mower throttle cable. same thing. I don't have cables and glade of it. I'm told they are also too long. Not a problem if they are anchored down. They must be anchored at least at each end. If you can't find something to anchor to make one.

Actually cavie, the R/V industry and Forest River in particular, do in fact, call it a termination valve or in most cases a Fullway Termination Valve so yes, lets get it straight!
Here is a link to many discussions on folks not knowing what it is and a photo of the nomenclature.
Fullway Termination Valve

I stand corrected however, I have seen the question asked twice in recent weeks as to what it was and as a result, I'm gonna go with what 75% of the world knows it as. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, Quacks like a duck, it must be...............

A Hippo?
Seriously though, to the OP, if you want to get really fancy, you could always replace it with an electric valve:

No worries about cable failure then.

The cables r probably too long for the application ( they can b shortened) Keep them spray lubed when you use them and maybe it will work it way around

And your point? I welcomed the OP to the forum as I'm sure someone did when you joined the forum.
