Blackstone griddle mount
Picked up our new 2021 Surveyor Legend. Love it!. Getting around to testing everything and when it came to the griddle, I do not see any way to mount it to the side of the exterior like I have seen in pictures and videos. The prep table was included but if I rest it on there, the coking surface is at chest level. Is there a standard bracket that is supposed to come with this trailer or is it sold separately?

We are also loving our 2021 Surveyor Legend!
The griddle comes with a bracket (black with stainless arms) that hangs the griddle out away from the coach when in use, and a little bit lower. Should be in the box (ours was, at least).
I wouldn’t use it in the table next to the exterior wall.
We seasoned the griddle in the oven with flax oil (4-5 heat/cool cycles), and it cooks great!
Will try to rustle up some pictures during our next trip if you’d find it helpful.

We too are loving our Legend and the griddle. For seasoning the griddle I used my gas grill instead of the oven. It put a really nice seasoning on it and nothing sticks, not even eggs!

My wife bought a 17 " Blackstone. She loves it. We have a 2020 Surveyor Luxury.
Question. Is the Blackstone from Forest River a 17" Or the bigger one. And what are the particulars on the MOUNT. Is it part of an external kitchen? Pictures maybe
Thanks

If you put a grill or griddle on the wall of your RV as they say to do from the factory, you'll end up with a greasy mess all over the side of your RV in really quick order. There are two of us that camp with Rockwoods with that same bracket that extends the grill "away from the wall" and it's not enough to keep the side of the RV from being a big mess.

We had this grill setup, on our old Rockwood, for 10 years, and we NEVER had a big mess. I never had to wipe the wall off from behind the grill.

Easy enough to hang some kind of curtain behind it to catch any splatter.

Yes, The "War Department" does have some kind of shield on 3 sides of the grill anyway.
Will check into the bracket.
