The 22" comes with a propane hose but it was too short. I replaced it with this one:

It was cold and windy outside yesterday and I cooked steaks for me and DW, I couldn’t get the griddle hot enough so I grilled the steaks on my grill. DW knew the difference and told me the steak tasted better on the griddle.

Blackstone Grill

I saw a 22 inch Blackstone griddle with stand and hood and hose. It seems there is two different fronts, one black and one stainless. At Walmart, is buying a stand worth it. I really want the 22 inch model with a hood. Anyway it’s $174. I’ll wait until a after Christmas sale. I already have two tables that I cook on and only so much room in camper

Specs are exactly the same... The chrome is fancier, but everything else is identical... Check WalMart shop at home site... I had mine delivered to the store and picked it up... Spent $140 with stand and Hood, also the hose for hookup to a larger propane tank...

Picking my 22 inch with stand, cover and hose in Ogdensburg tomorrow. Was $174US. Just the 22 inch griddle alone is more than that here. Well worth the 45 minute drive south.

I’m hoping that Walmart or someone else puts the 22 inch on sale by Christmas or before the first

If you only want the grill, Iwannacamp's link is a great price. If you add the cover, stand and hose you are at $200. The combo at Walmart is then a better deal. I have a suspicion that the combo at Walmart may be a Walmart "exclusive" as I have never seen it elsewhere.

Same here, I couldn't even source the individual parts north of the border.

Me too.... well I will when it gets here. Thanks FRF. I need something else to haul and store in/out of the RV.

I have now... stainless grill(Sams), an LP stove, now a griddle(I am going to use my hose from the Big Buddy Heater) and one of the stand/tables I have..or the picnic table.

I saw these online and thought they might be handy.
https://griddlemaster.com/product/handle-it/
I thought I might as well make them myself..
I ordered the magnets form Ebay 50mmx5mm w/6mm hole(https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-10pcs-N52-Super-Strong-Round-Magnets-30mm-50mm-x-5mm-Disc-Rare-Earth-Neodymium/152623268886?hash=item23890e4416:m:mjm3yNEvZwVfxYe PFTF1WTg:rk:23f:0)
and got two 2" washers at Home Depot, two wood knobs and 2- 3/4" screws for under $10.
I always have foil pans in the trailer so for a cover I just need my magnets which I keep stuck to the grill when I'm not using it.

I wish I knew, I could have sold you my 17 inch griddle but the shipping would have probably not been worth it

You can also buy the same hose at Lowes and even longer lengths. Later RJD

Well I'll stick to my charcoal grill which 18 years old and cooking on it food taste a lot better and has a flavor of charcoal where you get nothing cooking on gas might just as well stick in a gas oven. Ya you can add seasonings but not the same. Besides they take up more room which I sure don't have. Yep I'm cheap and not going to spend $175 for a gas grill Later RJD

I agree. The food tastes better on coals... A few years ago we were camping and the kids came up with 4-5 friends to eat with us. My coal grill had started dying down and I was about through cooking. Now i have more people to feed and a grill that's dying. If I had LP I could have turned it back on and back in business. That's why I use propane. My "at home" smoker is LP and wood fired. I can maintain 250 at any time.

Food might taste a little better on charcoal but it’s just to messy on the road for me. But we all buy what we want. I have driven all day , I can get the griddle cooking in just a few minutes and cleanup is a snap.

The wind seems to blow down the flame down some, has anyone made a mod to correct this problem

One windy day I could not even use mine, would not get hot enough to cook. May need some type of wind screen around the windward side in that case.
