I was there a few weeks ago, in the back at spot 51. Will be back in April, but in the meantime we are at Oak Grove.

Blu Angel

We are in site 62 in a pull-thru. We've never been in a pull-thru. This is the 5th year we've stayed here. Here 'til Mar. 15.

Nice. Pull thru's are super convenient and easy. We're always torn between seeing the water from the front row or the relative privacy the back provides. Most times, the privacy wins out. The only reason we stay at Oak Grove is that it's convenient to work, which I do alot of while I'm here. It does have a nicer beach tho - directly across from Fort McCrae and Pensacola Pass.

99.9 % of the time yes, either active or retired or rated at 100% disability. If your with someone who meets the requirements, you sometimes can stay with the Commander of the base permission. Every base is different and it is left up to the Base Commander to set the regulations. If you don't have a DOD. Card you still would have to obtain a pass at the gate, to even get on the base itself.

Yes, you must be an active member of the Armed Forces; or retired military to stay here.

Yes and No. You have to be to reserve but not to stay. A eligible member can book more than one spot for the same time frame and sponsor a non military patron.

Only with the Base Commanders approval, some bases say no. Each base is different, different rules apply, best to call first.

10-4, but for Blue Angel Campground you can reserve more than one spot that can be used by a civilian. I have done it unless they changed this year. Being the campground is located off base may weigh into these rules.
