Blue Sea M-6006 disconnect switch help

Several years ago, I installed this battery disconnect switch. I had thought that it had always worked when I turned it to off. I just recently installed the bulldog dual motor landing gear legs on my fifth wheel. I used the same power feed wire and ground for the dual motor system. I turned the disconnect switch to off and still get power to the legs. I'm confused. Anyone have any thoughts?

could the switch have failed? check voltage on input and output terminals with switch turned on and off

assuming that the switch is a simple on /off switch. if it is one of those that lets you select between multiple batteries you may have it set to turn one battery off while leaving another on.

did you connect the legs to the proper switch terminal. if you connected it to the terminal that runs to the battery the legs will have power regardless of switch position.

take a break and then go double check things. you know you have power to the legs. trace the cables to find a path back to the batteries. this should be easier than trying to diagnose why you do not have power. there has to be a path!

I checked the M 6006 its the same one as I installed in my boat, it has four positions only one off. check that you actually have it in the off position and that your wiring is such that power to your landing gear is coming from the M 6006 and not the batteries as mentioned. Let the forum know what you find.
