in this larger picture you can see where it looks like they taped the floor to paint it.

Nope...no "bleaching"pink from the sun causing this.

TowPro...you have the "pink-o virus" too! As I previously stated, my great dealer shared they replaced the vinyl on a new unit under warranty with this same problem so yours should qualify. This ain't right...whether new or a couple of years old like mine...ridiculous. Please let me know what they do for you...or don't.

call FR and ask them. they will probably tell you "we meant to to that" so people would see the change in elevation and not trip over it.
and from everything I have seen, and heard when calling FR direct on the phone, no more hacks will be working on my MH. if I don't like it it will get carpet or thin engineered flooring by me.
I already had to take apart and fix the leading edge on the dinette floor. the face was so crooked it was at a 33 deg angle to the floor.
The floor was short of the slide frame so Clyde just slapped the bottom vinyl on it at an angle and called it a day.
I removed it, cut a filler strip on my table saw, put it back together with the correct angle and it now looks much bette.

OP,
Was the vinyl like that when you bought it? It seems to me like this was a surprise to you. If it changed over time, I can't imagine this was intended to highlight vertical surfaces.

You are correct...this "discoloration" just began within the last week. One day everything is matching, the next day it is a funky pinkish color.
I really think it is a much delayed reaction (maybe 2.5 years after the coach build) reaction to the adhesive/glue used on the vinyl.
My dealer is submitting this to FR...we'll see.

I believe all Forest River TT have a 10 year flooring warranty. You might want to check that out.

I've never seen one that doesn't have carpet in it somewhere.

I prefer carpet, but the kind that is bound on sides with sealed rubber backer. don't use the rough backed carpet.
Our first choice of a campground is the beach. Your going to get sand in your camper. with linoleum the sand scuffs your floor and grinds into it. with carpet the sand seeps down into carpet but if its rubber sealed back the sane stops in carpet. vacuum it or shake it out and your ready for another day.

I use a big carpet remnant in the living area, when the slides are out. I covers almost the entire area. I just roll it up for travel.

A lot of new trailers are carpet-free. My 192RBS has a little on the slideout platform, but none on the floor. My 130RBSE has zero carpeting.
