I've owned a total of 5 trailers. Including my current Prime Time trailer, all have been Forest River.

My first was a Viking pop-up, currently a Coachman product, my next trailer is my current trailer, a Wildwood by Forest River. Never even considered a Coachman product the second time around, the nearest dealer is 140 miles away. This had nothing to do with satisfaction as I only had two problems with the popup, both with the lift system, of which neither involved taking it to the dealer, both were within the warranty period too. Just too simple to fix on my own.
I did purchase both trailers from the same dealer, but this is no longer an option in the future as the economy consumed the dealer and he had to close his doors.
In the future I will look deep into the Jayco's as they have a manufacturing plant right here in town, gotta think about supporting the local economy! However, that will probably be several years away.... who knows by then

who ever makes the floorplan we like the best, with the best quality for the price, is the winner.

Nah, last trailer was Shadow Cruiser.
We'll shop for floor plan, perceived build quality and price next time too.

Our Wildcat is camper number 7 for us. Every one has been from a different manufacturer. If we go for one final one, it won't be a Wildcat.

We are on our second Forest River TT (2011 2902SS). Our first was a Shamrock. We got the 2902SS for the floor plan, our next RV will be probably one of the folowing, Carriage or Tiffin. After years of talking to fellow RV'ers these 2 brands seem to have the least problems and great service even after the warranty has run out. Not knocking Forest River, its just that we will be ready for something that can be used full time and year round, with as few problems as possible. So, we are not brand loyal.

I had a Crossroads travel trailer I would have stayed with the brand but they didn't make a layout that would for us so we bought a Rockwood Signature ultra lite

We had an Edgewater by Sunnybrook and traded on the V-Lite. It was the floor plan and V nose that sold us on this one. It will be the last as I am not interested in going in debt anymore at this point in our life.

We're on our second TT and had a pop-up before that. All three from different manufacturers.

Hardtop - Dutchmen (Thor) Value for dollar/layout
Travel trailer - Mallard (Fleetwood) As above plus proximity of dealership
Motorhome - Tioga ( Fleetwood) Value for dollar/layout
Hardtop - Rockwood ( Forest River) Value for dollar/layout
Hybrid TT - Kodiak (Thor) Value for dollar/ layout
Fifth Wheel - Flagstaff ( Forest River) Value for dollar/layout
No brand preference - Whatever dealer offers the best bang for the buck, even if I have to compromise on features.

We have had three units in the last 18 months. All three have been Forest River. First was a Flagstaff 29ft TT, then a 23ft Shamrock and finally a Flagstaff 30ft 5er.
We have found that we liked the style of FR products over others. When shopping for the 5er we would have gone with Rockwood version because the Flagstaff dealer is not very good at all. However, the Rockwood dealer did not want to work with us on the price. I think the dealer we have been using gets their sales because of price since nothing else they have done has been all that great.

My 1st unit was a Dutchman HTT. 2nd and current Rockwood TT.
Like others, layout and price will dictate future purchase.

Well I'm hated on Rv.net because I had a jayco then traded it on my Salem. The jayco had small annoying issues just like any other an for what I paid the standard jayflight is so decontented it's pathetic they stripped so Many things off the g2 model and still sell at a premium. My Salem has a ton more features for about six grand less than a comparable jayco so I'm a forest river guy (for now lol)

We have gone thru 10 units since we started camping. Early on it was brand loyalty. Starcraft was the class of the popup industry. Since then, floor plan and color took precedence over brand loyalty. In 1999, my opinion of FR was very low due to quality issues with our wildwood. Our new flagstaff has completely convinced me that fr is finally coming into their own and puts out a product they can be proud of.
1972 Starcraft Starmaster popup - great
1977 Starcraft Starmaster popup - great
1984 Starcraft Galaxy popup - the best
1989 Mallard 24' fbbh cheap
1991 Coachman 30' fbbh - good but heavy
1995 Prowler 27' ck - excellent
1999 Wildwood 27' - 5er big mistake
2000 Sunline 28' - solera ss better than the best
2006 Holiday Rambler 29' rlss - JUNK, just plain JUNK
2010 Flagstaff 29' 829fks- so far is as good as the sunline and lighter.

Sorry but as far as I am concerned Jayco is way to over-rated and way way to over-priced (wouldn't even consider bying one). Where I am from I have the choice between Coachmen or Jayco and the Coachmen that I purchased was approx. $8000 cheaper than what Jayco wanted for the same size and with a tiny slide compared to the super-slide that I have on my Coachmen. That is just my opinion though.
