Looks great. We have been taking shorter trips in the spring and fall. 30 to 50 mile weekend trips. Its all about getting away and spending some time doing what we love.

Very nice.
We're doing the driveway campout with the granddaughters tonight, but our scenery isn't on the same level as yours. Enjoy your weekend!

We have a State Park about 30 miles from home as well. I usually pull the camper to work with me and when I get off work around 1:30 or 2 pm, I pull the camper on up and begin setting up. My wife and son get out of work and school(during the school year) at 3:30 or 4 and head out as well. I can have most things done by the time they arrive and we have a great time! As many have said before, it's the point of getting away and hey if you forgot something your not too far from home.

Yup. We have a couple places 30-35 minutes from home. My son doesn't get off the bus until close to 4:00, so it works out. Sometimes we just want to disappear for a weekend.

Nice looking campground. Before going seasonal we used to camp at a State Forest campground about 7 minutes from our house.

We have a very nice RV Resort about half an hour from home. Actually thinking about staying there for a couple of months next year. We can then commute in the Taurus instead of the F250.

Nice view! I like to travel a bit to get away but I also love those trips close to home too.

we often camp at a state park less than 20 miles from home. My husband can commute to/from work during the week and we get another opportunity to use our TT! It's a win/win all the way around. Plus I can go home every other day to look in on my kitties, do laundry, etc. or work in our woodworking shop. We've been there four times already this year and have another trip planned in September.
