If lights from other campers are bothering you, it is an indication that you alcohol levels are too low. [emoji38][emoji38][emoji482][emoji482][emoji91]

doesn't anyone remember just using a flashlight at night, if you needed to be outside or go to the campground bathroom?
we don't even use our outside orange light, because we know how lights can be intrusive in a campground.
we keep a flashlight by the door, if anyone needs to leave the trailer.

Been to a number of sites in the last year or so that have high intensity street/lane lighting of such magnitude that it wouldn't matter how many of your camper's light were on. The typical explanation that it's (sadly) for security but it's got me thinking about learning how to sleep with some blinder on.

I do now have a fully lit, secure perimeter at home from dusk to dawn ever since my truck was stolen from my poorly light driveway.
On the camper at a campground... I leave the LED's on low, set to blue to match the LED's on the steps.
Would the same light sensitive people forget their sleeping mask when they go camping???????
To each his own....

Lights off here. But I don't care if everyone else leaves their flood lights on. My shade are closed when I go to bed so lights not an issue.

I always try and keep my lights off except my stair light. which is just a led strip under the top of the stairs so it only shines down and that's on a dusk to dawn sensor. I have motion detectors on all my outside lights but they are turned down low. You would have to be in my CG to set them off, That's for the rude people who think it's okay to walk through my spot. If someone is camped close to me I don't turn them on. If there is an empty space next to me I will. I always ask my neighbors if any of my lights bother them. Never had a yes yet. It's the polite thing to do, what ever happened to manners?

As a courtesy, our lights are ALWAYS off at night. That's a pet peeve, plus this past fall we had a couple next to us set up their chaise lounge recliners just below our bedroom slideout. Talk about "invading our space" - we thought that was extremely rude. On the other side, folks used OUR picnic table to lay out their fishing rods/reels and other assorted fishing equipment. I sure miss he days of common sense and courtesies.

When camping we use lanterns that utilize the tea cup candles. I hang them on both ends of the awning on a short length of chain. There is just enough light to keep you from running into the awning rods and will burn out in about 4 hours. We also use old style kerosene lanterns around the site with Citronella oil to help keep mosquitoes down. The tea cup candles can also be citronella. Only if we need something from under the camper do we use a flashlight.

Lights out unless I need to go out. Even then I use a flashlight if possible. I go to get away from city lights and congestion. Be considerate. It's not that hard.
