Camping Excitement

Sunday morning, camping in western VA, southwest of Roanoke. We were leaving that morning, so I opened up the awning to let it dry out.

Wife and I were sitting down drinking coffee just after 8 am when the camper started to shake. I saw the awning moving, so I jumped up to close it thinking a gust of wind was hitting it.

Opened the door and everything was still and quiet. No wind at all. So I said, "well, we're in an earthquake area, let's look."

Sure enough, we rode the Sparta, NC earthquake.

Anybody else?
