New Mexico is full of State Parks, National Parks and federal lands. Living in Albuquerque, we've been to the most of our State's parks. Most with hookups have some elbow room, a few are very cramped - avoid Coyote Creek! The New Mexico State Parks
website is full of info, as is the NM BLM
website. Two of our favorite places are City of Rocks (state park for warm weather) and Datil Wells (very quite BLM park just off of Hwy 60 near AZ border). Other of our more-preferred State Parks are Oasis, Bottomless Lakes and Oliver Lee. You will also find several beautiful national parks - Bandelier National Monument - near Los Alamos - has lots of sites and most give you elbow room, plus the ruins there are well worth visiting. Just up the road from Bandelier are several off-the-beaten path national park campsites.
