The truth is that we are all unique and we each take different enjoyment out of our camping experience. Some like to sit by the campfire in quiet solitude, others like the company of friends, a few beers and some stories. Others like the freedom it gives to children to run and play. I would suggest that if you don't like people, and all their different forms of enjoyment, then stay home, do what you do best, watch the Fox news and complain.

That is what is great about this country. We all have the RIGHT to voice our opinions and the RIGHT to disagree. No sense of "entitlement" here. Just laughing out loud (hence the LOL) at the people who don't totally prepare and are just there to get drunk and not have to watch their kids. Camping is a wonderful way to get out and meet people and enjoy the outdoors. Kinds of ruins it for me, though, when I can hear music at all hours of the day from 5 campsites away. And no, no Faux news in this household. I'll leave that to the sheeple who have to be led around by the hand and told how to think.

The campground I stayed at for Memorial Day weekend was quiet - most likely due to the strong winds.
