On the first day of our first major trip in our brand new trailer,
my wife slipped on a crooked wet plank acrosss a bad spot in the trail
breaking the fibula in her right leg just above the ankle.
She now has 2 new screws to go with the 2 new crutches.

Six more weeks until my wife get's the cast off.
Four months until we can hike "off road" again.........

Camping season is here now if we could get out there ;-(

I'm blessed, go on with out us this time.

Well, we don't yet have our trailer yet but everybody (that is, every body) around here is in good health and all in one piece. No casts, stiches, braces, crutches or IV drips.

And I'm going to be happy about that.

The trailer will get here, likely this year, right after I get the roof redone. I've even seen a few good used ones pop up!

God bless all you hurting folks.

I smashed my hand and twisted my anke today dragging a 200 Lb dummy out of a smoke-filled basement on a fire drill. Both are swollen a little, and I'll go easy on them tomorrow...when I get off work. Just another day at the office.

We are headed out Friday for our first camping trip of the season. My wife and I and 3 dogs are going to Hershey PA for the weekend. The weather is suppost to be warm maybe I will be able to test out our new Carrier A/C system, by the way NDJollyMon, how is the Dummy?

One firefighter reported minor injuries and the victim is recovering from smoke inhalation and minor burns in a local hospital.

The fire cheif commented, "It amazes me how lucky this big dummy is, I can't remember how many times we have had to pull this guy out of a burning building. He just never learns. What a dummy."
