The sad part for me this weekend was taking all the food out and bringing it into the house. I did however leave a few beers in there as well as the TV; I may still need to tell the DW "I'm going out to work on the trailer for a bit!"

We live in North Georgia... winterizing is coming soon....next few weeks... just mad a 6 day - 5 night trip to Birmingham Al to Barber's VintageFest for old guys and old motorcycles. weather was great... which makes it even harder and more sad to have to winterize.

May have to make a trip or two to Florida or South Alabama during the winter.

Just reserved a site for the weekend of 10/21. That will be out last one for this season. Going to give the roof a good cleaning, wash and wax, and then attempt to winterize for the first time. Probably April before we can go again. Going to be a long winter just seeing the trailer sitting out there by the barn.

At least you will be able to see yours.

I'm hoping the place we store ours at is okay with frequent visitations.

See..... Now if all of you lived in Texas you could use your rig all winter long just like I do... Don't have to winterize the rig either,,,, Just turn on holding tank heaters and put a ceramic heater inside and we're good to go...

Come on down...

We are going out this weekend for the last time this season. Then we winterize it. At least we can keep it parked at home.

Uggghhh, will you guys stop bragging

I'm seriously regretting the decision I made years ago to shorten the driveway 20ft so we could make my DD a playfort.

Sigh.............

Our unit is still up in Sturbridge for Fall Days... Leaves are beautiful and the beaver is still causing damage all around the pond. Don't have to drag it out till after Halloween... Having great times each weekend. Then no time to waste in getting it winterized.

Hoping to get another weekend or two in here in Kentucky before getting her all winterized up. Sad days when we have to close the pool, and now a new camper adds tom the sadness of the fall season.

We are going out one last time in the next couple days. Was supposed to have gone today but just got the call that the person in the site I want decided to stay till Saturday. Our favorite campground is closing for the FIRST TIME EVER on Nov. 1 and will not reopen till mid MAY!!

Our Roo will be parked again in the back yard. I see it every time I go out to leave. It's going to be a long sad winter.

We still have a weekend planned on 10/21. I will see after that if the weather permits. Last year we winterized too soon and got some good weather.

Winterized it a few days ago and did the wash/wax thing yesterday. Still have to pull the battery and remove a few things that I figure don't need to experience freezing temps, then it gets to sleep till April or May.
The past week to 10 days have been glorious - 75-80 degree temps, all sun and not a hint of rain...today is another story, back to the rainy fall weather and the leaves are coming down in droves now.

We're only in our 10th month of ownership of our TT. We went camping on the first day we got it, January 15th. Our summers may be hotter than the hinges of Fades, but our winters are mild. I really like the thought of going camping year round down here in SE Alabama. I really feel for you guys who have to button up for the winter. There is just too much fun camping to have to limit to 1/2 of the year.

We have one more trip planned, not too far but just a last chance to enjoy the new TT. Gotta winterize after that, still debating on the cover after reading all the posts from the forum. I`m lucky to be able to store in the yard so any issues that may arise can be quickly addressed.
