Camping World buying up local RV dealers
Here in Virginia Camping World has bought 2 local dealers.
Seems they want to take over.

I was in Camping World in C.B. Iowa about a month ago. What a mess !! barely anything on the shelves. They use to have a great hitch section and now it's a small area with a couple drop hitches and some locking pins.

The ones in NC are in Marion and Concord. Both purchased from Tom Johnson's.

Yep, CW bought Reines. Sad day! So the Vibe sits while they figure out IF they are going to do the factory warranty work. Less than a year old, bummer.

That's the way it works. CW is on a buying spree. Sad to see a lot of decent independents go away. It is similar to the Walmart process, move in and take over. Unfortunately not too many of the CW's are run very well from what I have seen.

We have/had a Gander Mountain here in Evansville Indiana. It is supposed to one of the stores that will re-open under whatever CW will call it.
On an interesting side note there will be a Leadership conference here in August. And one of the guest speakers will be none other than Marc Lemonis. It will be interesting to see if he scouts our local larger RV dealer here as a possible acquisition.....

That's sad news. I hate Camping World. Well, at least the RV sales side. The store is OK, but I can usually get what I am looking for on Amazon for less money.
