Lightbulb Can't find my model anywhere

I recently purchased a 1997 Sierra by forest river? Model 23RD. I can't find it anywhere online. Nowhere, tried forest river-California even. I am perplexed. Could it be a newer year or first year where it isn't listed anywhere? It has a bedroom upfront and a huge u shaped dinette in the back. This is a mystery to me.

Probably because it's a 97 model.

1996 was when Forest River was founded and they acquired holdings of Cobra Industries, which Sierra came from. 1997 models would have come out in 1996.
What paperwork says Forest River?

I get paperwork tomorrow and I am going with what the owner said. I will run a Vin check just in case. Thanks for your response.

The previous owner probably said "Forest River" because that's who makes and sells Sierra travel trailers now. My guess is the previous owner didn't buy it new, and whoever sold it to him told him it was a Forest River Sierra.

Here's some info for you to help you get started in your search: "Created under Cobra Industries, the Sierra brand fifth wheel and travel trailers were designed for family vacationing. First sold during the 1987 model year, Sierra by Cobra trailers were available in lengths from 21 to 39 feet."

There is probably no "Cobra Industries" around any more to help you, but you might be able to find some info in line by searching under Cobra Industries Sierra.

Good luck.

X2! Very well maintained. Just guessing, but I'd be willing to bet that those are not the original appliances, but newer stuff. Seeing as how it is a 1997 model a lot of the original equipment is obsolete and discontinued.
