center support pole for awning

can someone post some pictures of their center support pole on their awning,
mine came with one but im not sure how it goes on.the previous owner said to keep an eye on it ,he had one stollen while camping and said they were a hot commodity.anyone had one ripped off?

I have a center support but it's secured to the camper with bolts. I am not able to post pic at this time because my camper is in storage, but may someone else can give you a visual on what they have.

thanks for posting the pictures, thats what makes this a great place.
KUDOS to you spepi


on ours the most difficult thing was getting the tension correct into the awning tube, i was afraid th eput to much tension on it, we didnt get an explanation on it when we purchased the unit.
then it came to me and put enough to straighten the tube and BAM the awning stayed tight and didnt ripple to much

I installed this myself. Its pretty easy to do, and if you look at the cup holding the awning...it may look like there is too much tension, but its perfect...no bounce, and no creases.
