Went on a last minute one nighter with our oldest close to home. No real issues to speak of...after getting everything unhooked at the storage lot I was removing my hitch head and one of the centerline cylinder pins moved when I picked up the head. the cotter pin that holds the while assembly together together was gone. You can see it in the photo where the bars slide into the socket.

Did someone take it out or do you think vibration made it fall out?

Good question. I keep the hitch head in the forward compartment...I may have knocked it loose as this thing weighs almost 100lbs and it sometimes gets banged around. Going to harbor freight Tomorrow and buying an assortment.

I picked up extra cotter pins from Lowes. I keep enough to replace all in case some fool has a field day with my hitch setup.

I had two removed in a campground in Tennessee from the lower arms of my hensley, I hope it was some kids prank because I could not imagine a responsible camper doing this, it was pure luck we seen it.

I'll have to pick an extra set up as well. Never thought of one coming out, they seem to be on there pretty good. And it is a heavy hitch!
