Chirping Propane Pig Tail

Only took me a few minutes to post a search on the forum for a "chirping Propane Issue". Found the issue, and it fit my situation perfectly. Now all I need to know is the easiest and best place to find/buy this replacement Pig Tail?

Pretty much anywhere. Check a good propane grill store or https://www.amazon.com/GASPRO-Propan...4-135149aa9081

Check any of the big box stores or even farm supply stores. That's where I got my last ones. Tractor Supply.

I found my replacements at the local RV shop. I believe they were $12.99 each.

The male ends come in a couple different sizes. Ours developed a leak in the hose. I went to a big box store that sells most of the Camco RV stuff and bought one there that was 1/4 inch whereas my regulator thread is bigger, appears to be 3/8 so i need to find another one. I noticed Amazon has them in 3/8.

Rather than buy an entire new hose you can get a 3/8" x 1/4" brass bushing and adapt that hose you have to the regulator.

Any hardware store should carry it.

It's the hose that I need. After taking trailer out of storage and running through all the systems, i could hear propane hissing after turning the tank on. Turns out the hose has a crack in the rubber and that's where the hissing is coming from.

I find that these pigtails don't last anymore. On my last trailer, in 15 years, I only replaced them once. On the current trailer, I'm lucky to get two years out of them. At first I thought it was because most of what you can find are made in China. The last pair that I bought last year were made in the US and one of those has failed already, only 11 months in service. Ed
