clean vent screens

We have Max Air covers for our vents including the fan in the bathroom. It's time to clean out the debris up there. Is there an easy way to clean out the screens without going on roof and screw open the covers? Thanks

I use pressurized air, either from a can or my small air compressor if turning the fan to exhaust does work.
