Cleaning supplies

Hi! First time trailer owner here. Can any bathroom and kitchen cleaners be used or does it have to be special ones? Disinfectants ok?

Any bathroom cleaner will work in the bathroom and shower, Depending on you counter tops you might need something if they are not laminated and are marble or granite. Get a good wood preservative for cabinets and some rug cleaner for spots and some scotch guard for fabric and rugs. No polish need ed for floors unless laminated wood.

Some of the bathroom cleaners are not septic friendly.

If you use it at home and it doesn't harm your plumbing, you don't have to worry about it harming the plumbing in your trailer. HOWEVER some lavatory & kitchen sink cleaners you use at home on porcelain/stainless sinks, etc are much too harsh for the plastic sinks, etc in a camper.

I would stay away with scouring type cleansers especially on the plastic sinks. Bar Tenders helper works great.

I read somewhere n the forum to use glass stove top cleaner for the kitchen sinks that are plastic. I only use it on stains and mine looks new after two years.

I read somewhere that you can use Dow Scrubbing a Bubbles in the sinks and shower. It won't scratch but will clean scum and disinfect

I have always just used Clorox wipes on counters and sinks. I use a little of the detergent from geo method to clean the toilet. I use a swiffer to mop the floor. no issues in 4 yrs in the old TT and 6 months with the new fiver.

Thank u all! I found some toilet cleaners for RVs on a website also. I was most concerned about the sewer system.
