True that, they disappear till the first mild day, then BOOM. Back again. Really impressive actually.

Most of Yukon Territory was under a deep freeze last week with the entire territory no warmer than -40. Dawson City had days where the mercury didn't get above -50 deg. F and nights down to almost -60.

Makes most other place down right balmy.

The opposite of hell. Yet not heaven. Maybe just a different kind of hell? A climactic variation perhaps??

About the same here. 33° and windy as all heck.

Thank goodness I've got awning hold down poles and brackets as the neighbor said his weather station recorded gusts of 42MPH but we were solid as a rock.

Looking forward to the warm up.
We've got lots planned and I don't intend to do it in frigid temps... could of stayed home and done that!

Was about 22 when I left the house, 19 when I got the to car wash. $33/mo for unlimited car washes is so totally worth it. Averaging about once a day.

ETA: Oh, and heated seats are indeed nice, but a heated steering wheel is the shiznit.

Gotta have like 2 weeks of below freezing temps with no warmup for it to have an effect. But, the other side effect, is northern bugs are the size of bugs. Southern bugs are the size of rodents.

Rodents can be small, too.
