Collectable stuff.

I've been outfitting my,new to me, micro lite TT. I remembered something I had put away for a few years for this purpose. Its a Ralston Purina checker board pattern wool blanket. It is still in the origanal box and has never been out of the plastic bag. I noticed the postage stamp on the box says 1970. A fourty year old blanket. I got to thinking it might be worth something. I would hate to use something like this in a travel trailer. I done a little searching on the internet but didn't find anything. Does anyone know what this thing might be worth in anything?

Nope but if it were mine, I'd leave it in the box.
You might actually try calling customer service at Purina.
In some cases they will actually offer to buy stuff back for
their own collections.
I donno where you'd get a decent appraisal.

Have you searched for some sort of Purina memorabilia museum?

I have not seachhed for a museum. I have searched online for Purina wool blanket and haven't came up with a single hit. Either they are rare are not collectably valuable.

Try an "Americana" museum.
