Back in my tent camping days I used to hog a campsite with electric and water at national forest campgrounds just so I wouldn't miss my Star Trek TNG and Deep Space 9 reruns...and not have to carry the water!

Thought of another one. On a few occasions I've eaten a breakfast sandwich while dumping the tanks without wearing gloves. :-P

Hi,

Early in this thread, I confessed to dropping my fifth wheel on my truck bed.

Seeing what an understanding and forgiving group you are, I now find the courage to admit that about ten years later, I did it again.

Hitching up in the storage yard. Distracted by a conversation with my wife. Neglected to check that the hitch was fully engaged. Eased out to leave the spot. Gave it a little throttle. Bam!!!

Asking for understanding and forgiveness...

One of my big fears... I bought a Butch's(when you could buy one) and haven't missed a couple yet. Knock on something

Soap and water works magic.

I wonder how many parents here bothered to wear gloves while changing baby diapers?

On that a good gas mask might be a bigger help

I made a reservation at a popular National Park with no intention or fulfilling it. Did it just in case we wanted to go.

I regret it and still feel bad about it to this day.

Who among you will cast the first stone.

Before carport days I was driving the Kubota tractor really close to the Vengeance while cutting the grass (belly mower deck). Was paying close attention to prevent the deck from hitting the trailer but failed to consider the tail swing. Sharp turn...3-point hitch bar contacted the forward steps and destroyed them. Found out they are really cheap and easy to replace.

After backing into a particularly nasty site just barely touching (no damage) the box with the bottom of the 5er. I was feeling pretty good (read cocky, over confident). I leveled the trailer and unloaded the truck. The nose of the trailer was way low do to the incline on the site. I pulled the truck forward and re positioned the truck better on the site and to make sure it was clear of the road.

The DW came out to ask if I required help. I proudly informed her that I am good, no help needed.. She said Oh good, so you meant to bury the pinbox into the truck?
