I think if one uses an eco-friendly soap, then a grey dump shouldn't be considered questionable; maybe.
Not sure if is is a sin, but, I am struggling to do any customization. I always struggle making changes to things I purchase. I like leaving things as they are, as I feel I can ruin it with changes.

I do this with no "sneaky" at all. When boondocking I can always find a grateful tree.
As for eco friendly soap, if Dawn is good enough to wash grease off ducks it certainly won't harm the trees. As for what I use on my body, if it's OK for my skin it's not going to harm anything either.
Don't have a dishwasher or washing machine. THOSE soaps can be really harsh.
Why is it we all worry about dumping our gray water on a water hungry tree yet think nothing of letting our dogs pee on it (as well as most guys)????

It actually levels the truck out lol. With tembrens, the truck rides the same with or without the trailer. When I’m hooked up I look like a “level” 4x4. I too am guilty of no gloves to dump, but always hand sanitizer afterwards. Jay.

I flush the black water tank with the outside shower. As a matter of fact the outside shower stays hooked up to the black water tank flush. I never use gloves dumping the holding tanks, I do wash my hands afterwards.

CONFESSION-what are your RV sins!?!
Sin or Stupid ? But forgive me father....
Sewer connection wouldn’t seal so after dumping I just caped the end of my stinky slinky and sewer. Few days later I go out to drain and find a full stinky slinky. I failed to close the valves at the camper.
Visions of Robin Williams but I didn’t spill too much as I removed the cap and shoved it in the drain. And yep no gloves.

Let me see.
I spent a year towing over my truck's capacity.
I've left a paid dump station unlocked for the guy waiting behind me.
I've spent the night at a Walmart without asking permission first.
I've driven on a road clearly labeled for passenger cars only.
I've smuggled pets in a no pets allowed campground.
I've used my generator outside of quiet hours.
I've unhooked and left my camper on the side of the highway to go buy a tool needed to fix something.

Full Disclosure... I am NOT a priest. I am/was Catholic so I know how it is supposed to work. A couple of those are just Christian things to do and I am sure leaving the RV in an emergency was not a Sin.
Just say 2 Hail Marys and an Our Father.

Back in the 5 th wheel time I’d back the truck he’d do the heavy work. I was a tad crooked and he was so busy watching up he forgot to pull the tailgate up in time. We had the little indent. Then another day while parked in front of the house he pulled out too sharp and the mailbox kissed the back corner plastic and there was a nice scratch on that. Those are our sins. That poor Laredo

Lol. The Priest might assign you penance as saying a couple prayers.
Hail Mary:
Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Our Father:
Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
If you wanted to know.

confession
It has been over a hundred posts since my last confession. Forgive me father, for I have sinned...I brought my TT to Camping World for service!
I was lead unto temptation and to the dark side by CW. They had a hell of a deal on tires, and I didn’t even have to make a deal with the devil to get it!
Can I do one Hail Mary and one our father per tire?

I've driven by about 46 different CAT scales without weighing my rig (although, in my defense, only 41 of those times did I say to myself, "Hey, I should get this sucker weighed and balanced . . .!")

1) I've been using the fabled FR-1 water filter (new element each year) for 4 years and plan to do so again for 2019 (there: I've just cursed myself).
2) I have no plans to ever upgrade to a larger RV.
3) I've never been to a CAT scale and I have no plans to do so.
4) We almost never side-to-side level our RV with an actual level. We just eyeball it and if we figure it will take more than 2 2x6 boards we'll move the camper.
5) I actually enjoy the sound of other campers having a good time around their campfires (within some kind of limit of course - and we're generally in state parks where there's some distance between sites).

Reading this forum and seeing gizmos, gadgets and mods that I like the adding items to my Amazon wish list so I can lust over them and try to justify NEEDING them.
