Contacting Forest River

Good Morning all, I have a 2018 nitro XLR 27kw. The "Drawer?" slide that is attached to the sliding screen door leading to the rear patio has came apart and is not usable. I contacted my dealer and for over a month was told that Forest River has not gotten back to them. My question is can an owner contact someone at Forest River to purchase a part and/or get information?

Typically, Forest River will not sell parts retail to a consumer. They'll want you to go through a dealer to purchase parts. BUT, you may find out whether the dealer is shooting straight with you. Far too often, the excuse "Forest River has not gotten back to me" or "I ordered the parts and Forest River hasn't shipped them yet" really boils down to the dealer not having contacted Forest River or ordered the parts.

At least you'll know where the delay really is, and be able to address it at that point.
