correct slide adjustment on a 2003 wildwood 29 BHSS

Hello forest river owners.

I'm new to this forum and forest river rv's. I've recently picked up a 2003 wildwood 29 BHSS with what looks to be a Lippert slide mechinism. I have some questions about the slide. I've done a search and picked up some good info , but none that directly answered the question I have.

When the slide is extended about 2' should it be level?
To get mine to seal good at the top when closed ( transport mode) the slide when extended about 2' is a good bit closer to the top of the camper than the bottom. When I fully extend it the bottom fully extends a little before the top. Then the top kind of rocks over and every thing seems good square and slightly angled away from the trailer.

If I adjust it to where it is level going in and out it doesn't seem to seal good at the top when closed.

Can someone help me out.

to FRF.

The slide on our GS is a sofa slide and the top and bottom never go out or in the same. The top always leans out coming and going. This is normal for this type slide. I don't know if your Wildwood has the same type but I'm sure someone that has one will chime in.
